Our mattresses are made by Restwell, a Minnesota company that shares our commitment to quality, value and safe materials.
Our exclusive, private-label mattresses include the most trusted types of support in a modern, low profile that perfectly fit our platform beds. Instead of carrying a line of mattresses from a national brand, we partner with Restwell so we can offer the best materials at the best value. Working together, we offer options for any comfort preference in an easy-to-understand assortment. Thanks to expert engineering and quality materials, Room & Board mattresses don't require a box spring or foundation.
Every Room & Board mattress is made in Restwell's Minnesota facility. Using a combination of technology and handwork, experienced team members expertly craft our mattresses. Large sewing machines quilt covers, but cutting, assembling and edge finishing is done by hand and inspected every step of the way. Restwell draws on its decades of industry experience to create mattresses that remain supportive and comfortable through many years of daily use. After a final quality check, mattresses are wrapped, sealed and sent to Room & Board, just a few miles away.
Every Room & Board mattress features an organic cotton cover. We've eliminated flame retardant chemicals by utilizing a non-toxic fire retardant fiber in all of our mattresses. Made from wood pulp, this natural material is inherently resistant to flame and complies with state and national fire safety laws. Our organic latex foam is made without any synthetics, and all other foams are certified by CertiPUR-US® to be low-VOC and free of flame-retardant chemicals, lead, mercury, formaldehyde and ozone-depleting CFCs. We are dedicated to using the safest materials available in our mattresses, which Restwell sources within the U.S. whenever possible.See all Restwell products
