When Cameron Hughes Wine approached us with an opportunity to host wine tastings in our showrooms, it was the start of a special partnership.
Who doesn’t love design and wine? It’s the perfect blend (pun intended). But truth be told, it’s much more than that. You see, we share similar philosophies. We’re on a mission to bring quality products to the market at a good value. We both do it by partnering with the best makers—craftspeople and winemakers— and delivering the highest degree of service to our customers.
Cameron Hughes was founded by husband-and-wife team Cameron Hughes and Jessica Kogan in 2001. The San Francisco-based company buys ultra-premium wine from small vineyards around the world and sells them at huge discounts under its own label. Since the production is outsourced, Cameron Hughes does not own a vineyard or winery. And that’s precisely why they came to us—to take their wine on the road.
Since 2011, we’ve been hosting wine tastings in our showrooms. It’s an excellent opportunity to bring our customers together to enjoy wine, light bites and support non-profit organizations. Ten percent of wine sales from each event benefit a local charity partner. This has included chapters of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Environmental Nature Center, LA Family Housing and the Exceptional Children’s Foundation.
Tomorrow we’re celebrating the anniversary release of Cameron Hughes Wine’s Lot 500 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon at Room & Board stores in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Los Angeles and San Francisco. We hope you’ll join us.
