Planning a trip to the Big Apple? Consider staying at The High Line Hotel, a new property located in the heart of Manhattan in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood. Built in 1895, the gothic building resembles the many great cathedrals of Europe.
The 60-room hotel was once a student dormitory of the General Theological Seminary. It was renovated by Roman & Williams (the design firm behind the Ace Hotel) and opened its doors in November. The building features old world charm with a modern twist.
We adore the natural beauty of the wooden floors, vintage rugs and the bedside Tivoli radios. But it’s not all about the interior—22 rooms feature large windows with picturesque views of the High Line.
