It all began last January when we stayed at the Mondrian Hotel in New York City. It isn’t often that you find yourself hoarding toiletry products to take home with you on a cross-country flight.
Malin + Goetz struck a chord. We responded to the fresh scent, natural ingredients, packaging design and the fact that they did not test on animals. We became bigger fans when we learned about the company’s philosophy.
Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz founded the New York-based apothecary in 2004. Their intent was to create natural-based products that supported and served the community and offer treatments that benefit everyone.
Like Room & Board, Malin + Goetz supports small, family owned businesses. They source the finest ingredients locally or as close to New York as possible. They have maintained their partnerships since the beginning allowing them to control the quality and pricing.
We’re not the only product hounds! Malin + Goetz are big dog-lovers. Their bulldogs, Bob and Junior, are featured on their website with other canine pals alongside their full collection of products.
P.S. We do not get paid to promote the people, places and things we share with you on our blog. Nor do we accept gifts (as fun as that sounds). You’ll read a lot about Room & Board and our products, of course, but when we share things from outside our walls, it simply means we love it and want you to know about it.
