While Minnesota is often associated with the Vikings, Mall of America and Prince, our beloved home state has much more to offer. In a recent article, The Wall Street Journal pays homage to the Land of 10,000 Lakes by sharing stories of heritage brands that are embracing their Northern roots.
“The ‘North’ movement dovetails with national trends of late: buying locally made goods, eating local farm products and wearing ‘heritage’ products with a long pedigree. Well-made utilitarian items—long an important part of Minnesotan culture—are fashionable all over these days,” journalist Christina Binkley writes.
