Our new assortment of modern American-made home furnishings launched online on December 26. The collection will arrive in a store near you (if it hasn’t already) after each showroom undergoes a complete floor change. I asked Room & Board’s Visual team which products they’re most excited about.
Julianne Johnson in Seattle:
“I dig the Hess sofa in Brighton Cognac. The combination of clean, low-slung lines, modern styling and buttery soft baseball glove leather is unbearably inviting. It’s easy, understated and cool—like a bomber jacket for your living room.”
Tisha Ballowe in Minneapolis:
“My favorite pick is the new Lars chair—it’s like a great pair of Frye boots, but for your home. It works beautifully in almost every room setting. It’s timeless. And you can’t beat the comfort of the soft leather and the smooth curves of the wood.”
Deb Sonzo in Chicago:
“I love the Macalaster sofa, as it’s an updated version of a timeless classic. I love the flexibility of it being paired with very classic furniture, or mixing it with very modern furniture. So deep and comfy without being stuffy.”
Emily Wermel in Denver:
“I adore the new Amira rug in Black Onyx. The faded washed look makes it feel like a vintage found object with a story. I love that it’s black without being stark; the pattern and wash soften the effect. It works well in a variety of room styles from modern and transitional to classic.”
We’d love to know: which new product is catching your eye?
