Customer comments about Down Duvet Filler Queen Ultra-Lightweight Warmth:

This mid-weight queen size comforter is great in winter months. We use it in the northern CA bay area and a vacation home in SoCal. However, in the summer months, my husband gets too warm. I'm trying to find out the fill power of the lightweight and ultra lightweight versions to replace what's currently in use. The only other complaint I have is the size is so odd, it's difficult to find a cover for it beyond Room and Board's store.

Customer comments about Down Duvet Filler King Ultra-Lightweight Warmth:

This is our second down duvet filler from R&B. The first was great for colder months in Colorado. We were starting to get too warm using it for Summer so we bought another one that's the very light weight version. We love it-- it's perfect!

My only question (which I haven't had time to call and ask) is why the label reads to wash it for best use-- I would expect it to come ready to go-- I did not send it to the cleaners-- it's fine as is!

What is the fill power of the Lightweight down duvet?

        A:

The Room & Board down duvets all have a fill power of 620. Fill power is a numerical designation which measures the lofting and insulating properties of down. Higher fill power provides more warmth with less weight. Fill power is not determined by size/weight of filler.
