Customer comments about Marlo Queen Storage Bed:

Comfortable, beautiful bed. It's the perfect size and height. I love that it's soft and cushioned all the way around so when I run into it, I don't hurt my shins, and so you don't need very many pillows to feel supported when sitting up in it. It's very well-built and seems like it will last forever. The storage drawer is amazing to have in a condo, for guest pillows and linens that we'd otherwise have nowhere to store.
When we had it delivered, it was assembled with the drawer slightly askew, but R&B quickly came back to resolve the issue -- and it really was a minor, quick fix!

Customer comments about Marlo Queen Storage Bed:

I purchased this bed once I decided to move an older Room & Board bedroom set to a guest room in my home and so it is now my primary bed. I can not emphasize how sturdy and solid this bed it. Once you decide where to put it, you can be certain that it is going to stay. I purchased my storage bed in the stock grey to allow more flexibility on my cover and pillow colors.

I matched the bed up with a heavy organic mattress that lays nicely on the steel slats. No box spring is required and I've never slept better. Another bonus is the fact that I can sit up and read with back support.

Finally I use the slide out drawer for my seasonal clothing and linens. It is a wonderful and clever space saver! Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and remain a loyal R&B customer for well over 10 years. Do try it out in one of R&B showrooms!

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was slightly ahead of time. Product arrived in perfect condition. Took the installers about 20 minutes to put it together. They were prompt and professional. Well done gents.

Customer comments about Marlo Full Storage Bed:

After a 2 year search for a modern and well made storage bed, I came across the Marlo on the room & board website. More expensive than I had been initially looking for, but appeared so perfect I had to see it in person. Even better than I expected, and my sales-person was wonderful.
And now that I've had it for about 2 months, I couldn't be more satisfied & thrilled. Worth every penny.

      Service and delivery comments:

One of the best delivery experiences ever. Prompt, friendly yet professional, fast yet quality assembly, and they left zero mess or cleanup. In perfect condition and explained how I could make minor fixes & adjustments if needed in the future.

      Great Bed - Horrible service.

      Service and delivery comments:

After waiting for almost a month and a half, the bed finally comes in, but the installers realize they are missing a part. So they put the bed together and R&B mailed me the missing parts a few days later. But no one called me or followed up to check on the status on the missing parts. I am still waiting for someone to finish putting the final piece together.

What is the length of the full size bed with the draw extended? How much additional space is needed if the bed is 85 inches long?

        1 answer

        • Employee Review

With the drawer fully extended, the Marlo bed is 27” longer, so 112”. To ensure flawless assembly, we recommend having a minimum of 36” of space at the end of the bed.

You may use a box spring with any of our bed frames, but it is not necessary and will raise the mattress significantly. The result is that less of the headboard will show.
