Customer comments about Moro King Bed:

I was worried that dust would accumulate because of the design, but that is not the case. The biggest problem is that it scratches/dents easily, but I am very careful. The color is lovely against my gray walls. The bedroom set seems to make the room look larger.

        • Moro Queen Bed

          Q:

Given an 11" mattress, how high would the top of the mattress be?
          Asked on 7/19/2014 by DJ

          1 answer

          • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

            A:

From the floor to the bottom of the mattress is 7.5" with a 11" mattress, your height would be 18.5" from the floor to the top of your mattress.

        • Moro Queen Bed

          Q:

          1) Does the bed use metal or wood slats?
          2) What kind of stains are used on the bed? I am concerned about toxic chemicals and VOC's used in processing and finishing the wood.
Asked on 7/18/2014 by Healthy Home from New York NY

          1 answer

          • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

            A:

The Moro bed is manufactured by Lyndon, they use finishes and stains that are made locally in Vermont—a state that has some of the strictest environmental laws in the country. Consequently, Lyndon's furniture is finished with extremely low levels of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants). At end of the production cycle, every leftover scrap of wood is used somehow, from fuel to sawdust for animal bedding at local farms.

The slats are made of steel.

          Q:

          Is the headboard removable?
Asked on 6/28/2014 by Bri from Los Angeles

          1 answer

          • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

            A:

The headboard is part of the frame, so disassembly of the frame is the only way to remove it. The bed will not be freestanding without the headboard.

        • Moro California King Bed

          Q:

For the Moro cal king bed: I need the measurement from:
The top side of the support slats to the floor.
The height from the same to the top of the headboard.
From stats to the top of the footboard.
I'm determining what height mattress will be comfortable when sitting on the edge of the bed.
          Asked on 10/4/2013 by Susan

          1 answer

          • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

            A:

            Hello Susan,
The measurement from the top of the slats to the floor (or the bottom of the mattress) is 7.5”. The top of the slats to the top of the headboard is 31.5”. The top of the slats to the top of the footboard is 8.5”. The bedframe is designed for a mattress approximately 11”-14” high. If you have other specific questions, please feel welcome to call us. We would love to help!

          Q:

The one picture available on the website of the Moro bed viewed from the side has the headboard (lower area) view blocked by a night stand. Does the headboard extend all the way to the floor or terminate at the top of the platform base? Are any additional pictures of this area available? Thanks for any info.

          Q:

I know you don't NEED a box spring but can the bed accomodate one? I'd be looking at the King size if that matters
Asked on 7/8/2013 by Mom needings an Oasis from Wantagh, NY

          1 answer

          • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

            A:

Our beds are designed for the height of a mattress only to create a clean, modern look. So while the bed could accommodate a box spring; it will sit above the frame, cover much of the headboard and raise the overall height.

          Q:

          Hi,

I am thinking of purchasing this whole set, but I am wondering if you sell just the headboard by itself? We just bought a Sleep Number bed so I don't need anything but the headboard.

          Thanks

          • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

            A:

The Moro bed is only available as a complete bed and we do not sell headboards individually.
