These chairs look great with our composite dining table. The chairs are actually very comfortable, and are easy to clean. No crevasses for food to fall into, and the leather wipes off easily. Only con is that they are a little pricey.

We bought 8 of these chairs and they lasted for a couple of years. Slowly the brown color started peeling off the leather below. All of the chairs look terrible now, and after 5 years we'll be replacing them all. Not what I would expect for such expensive chairs.

                A:

Six Madrid chairs, two on each side and one on each end, would fit comfortably at your table with 68 3/8” of space between the table legs on the long side... With three chairs on each side, there would only be approximately 2.75” between each chair which would make things a bit tight when sliding chairs in and out from the table.

                A:

We don't have a pretreatment product to recommend for leather. The natural qualities can be more forgiving than fabric. Cleaning food stains with water is effective but oil or grease based stains can leave their mark in the leather. These stains tend to minimize over time as the hide absorbs the oils. It is good to consider the care prior to purchasing. Let us know if you have further questions.

The leather material used on the Madrid chair is a bonded/regenerated leather. It has a slightly more structured feel to it then a top grain leather.

                A:

Yes, the Madrid chair material is a high quality regenerated leather. Regenerated leather consists of ground-up leather, mechanically processed to give the appearance of leather, but at a better value and with less waste compared to natural leather.

                A:

The seat does have foam padding between the leather and the frame of the chair. I would describe the sit on the Madrid chair as firm but more padded than a solid wood seat.
