Jacquard Wool

Summary

Description

Made in the U.S. by the wool experts at Pendleton®, these blankets are an updated take on zigzags; they’re not perfectly aligned, imparting a more relaxed look. The pattern won't fade over time because it’s woven right into the cotton and wool fabric in a technique known as jacquard weaving. Dry clean only.

  • Jacquard Wool Zig-Zag Full/Queen Blanket

    Q:

Hi, Just curious what the differences are between this zig zag wool blanket by Pendelton and the other ones that are half the price (also by Pendelton)? This one has 20% cotton / 80% wool and has to be dry cleaned while the others at the lower cost are machine washable and 100% wool. Just curious why this is more and why it cannot be machine washed? I don't mind paying more, but I'd like to know what I'm paying for.

    Thank you!

      A:

The complexity of the pattern and the fiber content, both affect the cost of the Jacquard Blankets. Dry-cleaning is recommended to prevent against shrinking and color fading.
