Customer comments about Architecture California King Standard Bed:

I waited 6 weeks for the bed to be delivered, it was defective. The beam at the top had a large gap at the post. While R&B allowed me to keep the detective bed until a new one was ordered, I had to wait another 6 weeks. This problem could have been mitigated with proper quality control before shipping the purchase. I admit I bought into the marketing about it being handcrafted etc. etc. But having to wait for a bed for 3 months and paying a price premium to do so is not what I anticipated.

Although I admire their designs, I will not purchase from them again.

          Service and delivery comments:

Customer Service are polite(albeit you get the idea it is through gritted teeth), but don't really give many options. They are also long waits while they look up your order, etc. Overall not a great service.

Customer comments about Architecture California King Standard Bed:

This was my investment furniture piece when I bought my 'forever' home 9 years ago. It is magnificent and supports even heavyset people without concern of metal fatigue. Add a star that it is made in the USA! However, I am now faced with moving and do not know if my bed can be disassembled and move with me...right now it is a ship in a bottle...but buy one and you will not be disappointed! (PS: Pragmatists that we are, we hang curtains on the sides to repel drafts in winter and hang wet laundry to dry over the top!)

Customer comments about Architecture King Standard Bed:

We have purchased two Architecture beds and we love them both. The first was in 2011 for our vacation home (queen, black steel). We wanted something modern but unusual that would make guests feel like they were truly on vacation. The second in 2014 for our new home (king/white). Both versions have the "tall" legs (in '11 that was the only option, we chose it in '14). I would encourage customers to really measure twice before closing the tall option. (We did not purchase R&B mattresses.) Our vacation home mattress is standard height - no pillow top - and the overall height is fine. Our primary home mattress is a pillow top and is really tall. Even though we are 6'8" and 6', when we get out of bed, we are immediately standing up. Our fault, not R&B's, and we don't really mind but it isn't ideal!

Customer comments about Architecture Queen Bed:

The high sheen color on the steel makes for an incredible depth of color. The blue is just rich enough without being navy. I went with the higher bed verses the standard lower version. The higher bed with a standard mattress (bed doesn't take a box spring) is in line with what most bedside tables and beds are from a traditional design perspective. The lower version is more suitable for the lower profile modern bedsides that are on the market these days. I did order the coordinating mattress boards from Room and Board and am thrilled with them as well.

              Service and delivery comments:

The in home delivery was prompt and seamless.

Customer comments about Architecture Queen Bed:

I am in love with this bed! The height from the floor gives the room a very airy feel. My husband complains on a lack of headboard, but we had to get rid of our upholstered bed because the headboard was ruined by my kids. It is very strong and my husband can do tons of pull-ups with the upper rail and not one squeak was heard. Go for it if you are thinking about buying this bed. Delivery was easy and very patient with 4 kids running around.

Customer comments about Architecture Queen Bed:

After having an antique iron bed, we were ready for a change. I love that this bed is so heavy and sturdy, it feels like it could last like our antique bed. Its sparse style and simple lines make an impact and leave room for creativity with the bedding. The canopy gives a nod to romance, while the bed has a modern and clean aesthetic. We are very pleased.

                Service and delivery comments:

Because we ordered a custom color, and the taller size, we had to wait some time for delivery, but the staff was extremely helpful and kept us informed on the delivery status. When the bed arrived with a scratch, the delivery staff was extremely helpful and we were able to resolve the issue to our satisfaction with no fuss, and great support from customer service. I can't speak highly enough of the staff.
