Great, solid bunk

Pros

  • Durable

  • Quality construction

Customer comments about Dayton Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

After using an Ikea bunk for a short time in the kids' room, I wanted a bunk bed that didn't feel so rickety. I must have looked at every bunk available in the US trying to pick this one out. Here are the highlights of what I really like about this one:

    - Solid construction (an adult can climb onto the top bunk without it squeaking or shaking)
    - Streamlined design - not super modern, but not traditional, could go with almost any decor
    - It can be separated into 2 twin beds
    - Takes up little space
    - Delivery included set up

Potential con is the cost, but really, this is a high quality bunk bed, and I think it's worth the money. And the kids love it.

    Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt (early even), and customer service was helpful during the ordering process.

Customer comments about Dayton Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

I search high and low for more than 6 months for the perfect bunk beds. I wanted solid wood, solid construction, no squeaks, NO MDF, a simple modern design...but one that a kid (both boy and girl) could grow up with and preferably one that converted into two twins. It was not easy to find, in fact I felt it didn't exist until R&B came out with this set early this year. I ordered it right away and crossed my fingers. The delivery crew was soooo amazing. They are the most solid wonderful beds. I couldn't be happier.

        Is the ladder easily removable?
        Asked on 2/8/2014 by KC

        • Employee Review

          A:

The Dayton ladder is not as easily removable as it is for most of our other bunk beds. The side rail of the top bunk must be detached from the footboard and lifted up in order to release the ladder.

        Q:

can i add a trundle ? how much is it?
Asked on 1/15/2014 by maayan from scottsdale ,AZ

        1 answer

        • Employee Review

          A:

The measurement between the legs of the Dayton bunk is 71 ¾ inches. All of our trundle beds measure 73 inches and up so we do not currently have a trundle that will fit underneath the Dayton bed or bunk.
