Customer comments about Moda Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

We waited almost 6 months w/ three failed delivery service attempts. we tried to convert our original Moda bed to a Moda bunk bed... which R&B website said was possible and so did the customer service staff. In the end, R&B took our old bed and gave us a bunk bed. My biggest beef was with the lame customer service calls w/ R&B... which were many.

Now that I own the bunks, my concern is that the bed wobbles and squeaks w/ someone on top. Maybe that is the nature of a bunk bed? or maybe it wasn't assembled properly? I don't know... but the thought of calling another customer service person wears me out.

Customer comments about Moda Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

We are so happy with these bunks. They look fabulous and are very sturdy for our two boys (8 & 2). The ladder can go on either side which made placing them in the room a cinch. The delivery/assembly team was fast, efficient, and polite. I was so impressed with them.

While initially I thought these were pricey I am so happy we went ahead. You TRULY get the quality (of furniture and customer service) that you pay for. I would highly recommend the moda bunks.

Customer comments about Moda Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

THe style is great. The quality is great. Very durable for kids. It has been easy to find additional decor to match not offered by R&B. The mattress fits perfectly!

    Service and delivery comments:

The delivery team is prompt and very professional. We purposely did not have it assembled as we moving internationally the next day.

It arrived safely internationally and with no damage. The packaging was appropriate. The instructions were not very clear. It took some time for us to understand and worst yet we had to translate it to the local non-english speaking crew! This shouldn't be a concern in the U.S. given that R&B does assemble the furniture.

Customer comments about Moda Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

This is a very nice quality bunk bed -- huge difference in quality compared to standard items for sale elsewhere. We're excited about the product and felt the cost was worth it given that the beds, when separated, will make very nice enduring furniture for our two girls.

Top bunk wobbles a bit but it's not at all unstable. Just don't want to have kids hanging off the guard rail.

    Service and delivery comments:

Delivery group was on time and very courteous. Great service.

Customer comments about Moda Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

I was really was excited about this bed, but since getting it we are disappointed. It looks good, but there are some big design flaws. The top bunk side rail does not line up with the side of the bed. It also awkwardly sticks out, and does not seem stable. Even the delivery guy (who was great)told me to tell my son not to lean on it too much.
The bottom side rail is an even bigger problem. There is no space for my 3 year old child to come out of the bed because it lines up with the ladder. Totally closing the bed in. My daughter now calls out to us at night when she has to go to the bathroom. She calls the bed her crib, because she can't get out safely on her own. I would take it off but she's only 3 and could fall out of bed without it. We may return the bed, but we are not sure if it's worth the trouble yet.

Customer comments about Moda Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

I ordered this bed for our daughters' room. They share a small room in a NYC apartment. This bed is great for small spaces - both the length and depth are small in scale compared to every other bunk bed I researched. Its a total bonus that its made in the US - and is very solid. I have 2 miner complaints: the railing on the upper bunk seems wobbly, but really isn't and the beds are a bit difficult to make up.

    Service and delivery comments:

The delivery was prompt and the assembly went super quick.

    Service and delivery comments:

Make sure to check how the techs put it together. Mine was assembled with the screws at an angle leaving it sticking out to rip mattress. Also not tightened so it wobbles. Main problem is room and boards assembly. I have also made 2 service calls and no one has returned my calls. Terrible customer service...go somewhere else and spend your money not worth it!

When we moved to our new condo, it was a transition for our twin boys from toddlers to "big boys". The Moda couldnt have been a better choice! The boys love the bunk bed.
The idea that it can be separated later was a hit
for my husband and I. Although a bit on the high side, we found this bunkbed from RNB to be the better investment.

Customer comments about Moda Twin over Twin Bunk Bed:

We are very pleased with this bunk bed set. We looked at many and felt this was the most efficient design as well as the most attractive. The only downside is it is very hard to make the beds because the ladder blocks total access. (we do have the beds against a wall so that doesn't help either) The trundle bed is great for storage!

The bed squeaks as my son on the top bed moves - but neither of my kids care or notice.

    Service and delivery comments:

The delivery men were FABULOUS!! They took off their shoes on their own to keep our kids carpet clean, they showed us how to move the ladder and overall they were a DREAM TEAM!

The top of the upper bunk mattress (using the recommended 6"h mattress) is 58" high. The overall height is 72". A 9' ceiling will provide sufficient clearance, but 8' could be a little tight for overhead room, providing only 2 feet of clearance.
