    Customer comments about Nest Crib:

My daughter is 18 months and we have used this crib since we brought her home from the hospital. As rambunctious as she is now, its truly shown its durability and longevity and I look forward to using it again. We have many pieces of furniture from Room and Board and this piece once again proves the great quality of furniture sold at Room and Board.

      Customer comments about Nest Crib:

The chip is down to the wood, which makes the new crib look used from the start.

Other than that, it is a good crib.

This crib is very good quality but it is also very attractive, which was important to us because we live in a small apartment and lots of people see it. We are very happy with our purchase/investment.

        Service and delivery comments:

Excellent delivery/assembly service. It was a godsend not having to assemble this ourself - one less thing to do!

Quality, hand-crafted crib with a contemporary look. Very well built with multiple mattress levels, and an add-on rail to convert it into a toddler bed.

          Service and delivery comments:

The delivery team was prompt, courteous, and professional. The crib, dresser, and chair with ottoman all arrived in perfect condition. The delivery team got everything assembled and positioned just where we wanted it. Easily the best furniture delivery we've ever had.

Customer comments about Nest Crib Bed:

This is a beautiful crib, however, it came with scratches and needed more sanding in many areas. It looks like who ever built this crib rushed through the job. Room and Board sent out a tech to repair it right away but still, I shop at Room and Board for quality. I was a little disappointed that I had to call for service.

I love that the crib was already assembled - one less worry for a new mom. All of Room and Board's furniture is quality and I love the simple design. We chose to get the conversion kit to get the maximum use of this bed.

Customer comments about Nest Crib Bed:

Parts of the crib had not been finished properly - there were a number of rough patches, as though they forgot to sand them down. Not ideal when a baby is going to putting their hands all over the wood. They did send out a new one, although the delivery guy tried to argue with me that i just needed to refinish the crib myself. Um, no.

The finish scratches VERY easily. And not just scratches, but dents very easily too. Which is odd, as we have the Walnut which is typically a very hard wood. Its not durable at all, which is unfortunate as its being used by a child - not exactly the gentlest of users.

I like that its solid wood and the finish is (supposedly) non-toxic. And the design fits my style. But its incredibly "delicate" and not durable. Very disappointed.

              Easy to adjust

              Best Uses

Customer comments about Nest Crib Bed:

We've had this crib 6 months now and it looks good and is solid. I'm prompted to review after discovering how easy it was to adjust the bed height. I just dropped the mattress down a notch since our daughter is moving around a lot. I expected lowering the frame to be annoying to handle on my own (despite being handy). However, the hinged design of the brackets made lowering the bed singlehandedly a snap. I was able to rotate the hinge to lower each screw while keeping the frame in place. Great job!
The only con we've found so far is that changing sheets on our standard mattress can be impossible without removing the mattress from the crib, which is safe but turns the whole process into a chore (more so I'm sure in the lower levels).

We haven't used the crib yet (our son isn't due to arrive until January), but my husband and I like the style of the crib. We ordered the conversion rail right away, too. We ordered the furniture planning on it lasting a long time, and it seems like it's built to do just that!
