Gage

Summary

Description

Each Gage cocktail table features a hand-welded natural steel base with subtle weld marks showcasing the work of the Minnesota metalworkers who created it. Choose from any of our solid wood top options, including reclaimed chestnut, which features rich patina and unique markings, and contrasts beautifully with the modern base. Please note: overall height may vary slightly depending on the top material you select.

Customer comments about Gage 60x24 15h Cocktail Table:

After a long day away, we always end up crashing in the living room, so we wanted a larger table for everyday use. We love the modern feel and clean lines of this table, but after using placemats and coasters, we still noticed small scratches on the Walnut top and the some scratches on the metal sides of the table. This is a bummer since we thought it would be great for the space. Unfortunately with this table, we can look but not touch. Disappointing…

Customer comments about Gage 48x30 15h Cocktail Table:

I love the lines and proportions of the table. The day after we got it, it got a scratch on the natural steel side from the cleaners, and within a week or two it had scratches on the wood top, despite our careful use. We bought a glass top to cover it, because it's a coffee table in a family room and we need to be able to use it! So decide with care, or be sure to cover it with glass, if that is a look you can live with.

      Q:

I am interested in the shell stain finish, but I'm worried about scratching it. Is there already a protective layer of flat lacquer on it, and if not, do you recommend adding it on for extra protection (I'd rather not use glass as suggested by another customer)?

        A:

The maple top with shell stain on the Gage table has a protective lacquer/sealer applied. It will help protect the finish but we recommend using coasters and care when using the top. • Gage 60x24 15h Cocktail Table

      Q:

Is it possible to get this custom so that it comes in a higher height? My sofa's seat is at 20", and I think a 15" height on a coffee table would be too low.

      • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

        A:

We do not offer the Gage cocktail table in a different height. Most cocktail tables will typically range in height from 12" to 16" inches.
