Customer comments about Oxford 123" Pop-Up Platform Queen Sleeper with Left-Arm Chaise:

We were looking for a sleeper that would work in our children's playroom and this has fit the bill! Perfect for when we have out of town guests, the kids also like to pull out and lounge on the trundle bed. We liked that it is a trundle instead of a traditional pull out and the fact that it can be slept on low or pulled up high to make a queen size bed has made it perfect for kid sleepovers. It is not a 'cozy' to sit on couch but I think that will come over time, with more use.

    Service and delivery comments:

The service from R&B was amazing! It just happened that we had furniture delivered in the same week from R&B and another store and it highlighted how fantastic R&B truly is! The guys who delivered were on time, careful with the couch and the walls and truly appreciative of the fresh muffins I gave them.
To add to the great service 8 months after we had bought the couch we received a call saying that they were sending someone out to adjust the roll out mechanism because they had has some complaints from other customers and so were fixing all of the couches just in case. That kind of follow up service has made me a R&B customer for life.

    • Oxford 123" Pop-Up Platform Queen Sleeper with Left-Arm Chaise

      Q:

Does the bottom section need to be "popped-up", or can you use it as two surfaces (high and low). If kids choose to sit on the lower section (for 2 tiered TV watching), will that impact the structural integrity of the unit?
Asked on 9/14/2014 by Design Mom from Bay Area

      1 answer

      • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

        A:

You may use the two levels separately as two different sleeping surfaces (one high and one low) or as two seating surfaces. This will not structurally harm the sofa frame.

    • Oxford 123" Pop-Up Platform Queen Sleeper with Right-Arm Chaise

      Q:

Does the sofa and the chaise ship separately? Essentially, I want to confirm that they come in two separate pieces and are then attached when put in the home. (i.e., I want to make sure they will fit). Thank you.

      • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

        A:

The sofa and chaise do ship separately and once in the home our drivers will be able to attach them.

      • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

        A:

With proper cushion maintenance, regular cleaning of the fabric according to the care instructions, and normal use, this sofa should work beautifully in your home for many years. The frame is engineered hardwood and will far outlast the fabric, so care of the fabric and cushions is essential to the long life of your sofa.

    • Oxford 123" Pop-Up Platform Queen Sleeper with Left-Arm Chaise

      Q:

Are both halves of the sleeping cushions (one on the sofa and one on the pop-up platform) made of the same spring coil and foam construction so that both sides feel the same when they become a sleeping mattress? Also, are both cushion halves detached from their base so that the bed can easily be made (queen fitted sheet able to go around both cushions)? Thanks!
      Asked on 11/12/2013 by Steve

      1 answer

      • DESIGN ASSOCIATE

        A:

Yes, all of the seat cushions on the Oxford Pop-Up Platform Sleeper sofa are constructed of spring coils and high resiliency foam. The seat cushions are attached to the frame of the sofa.

Yes, the platform sleeper portion of this sectional can be either on the right, as shown here, or the left. On the product page, under “Style” you’ll see it notes: “2 Styles Available”. Click on the orange arrow pointing down, and the scrollable menu will pop up, at which point you may select the opposite configuration in terms of sleeper location.
