Tools needed

  • #2 Phillips screwdriver
  • power drill
  • pencil

Note: Maximum recommended load is 20 pounds.

Directions

  1. Place mounting bracket against the wall at the desired location. Note: Pre-drilled bracket holes should be toward the top side.
  2. Mark hole locations on the wall with a pencil.
  3. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to install the wall anchors at marked wall location. Note: Install the head of the wall anchor flush to the wall; when mounting over studs, wall anchors are not required.
  4. Hold the bracket against the wall; install provided screws through the bracket and into the wall anchors or studs. Do not overtighten.
  5. Optional screw(s) are included for anchoring bracket to a wall stud. Note: It is highly recommended to have a minimum of one screw fastened to a wall stud to prevent sagging of the shelf assembly.
    1. Locate wall stud.
    2. Pre-drill a 3/16" hole through shelf bracket and sheetrock/wall panel at the wall stud location.
  6. Place hanging shelf over bracket and flush to the wall with the small pilot holes facing up.
  7. While holding the shelf flush and tight against the wall, install the small screws through the top of the shelf and into the top side of the mounting bracket.
