Comments: Love this bed. Purchased it 6 months ago, and have been loving it ever since. Great construction, high quality wood and color, no issues. Fits in with eclectic decor, and can match with any bedding. Love the simplicity of it's design and would highly recommend it.

Comments: This bed is the perfect blend of form and function. The solid walnut wood is beautiful and the construction is well thought out and of superior quality. I love the curved lines of this design which soften the beds look. No box spring is needed so the bed sits lower to the ground making it easier to get in and out and providing a clean line. Having tried out all the beds in the showroom, I found this headboard to be not only my favorite but also the most comfortable for leaning against while reading. We got this for our 25th anniversary and it was well worth the wait.

Comments: Sleek, simple, and comfortable. We visited the Room & Board showroom to look at over twenty beds and this one jumped out at us. The Shaker craftsmanship, warm walnut finish, and great mid-century lines earn lots of compliments from anyone who sees it. We started off stacking 2 pillows high in front of the headboard, but now only display one row of pillows so you can see the gorgeous headboard. It's the perfect height and our Tempurpedic mattress fit snugly. Beautiful, modern & functional.

Comments: I've been looking for a bed frame I really like for 15 years. Here it is! I appreciate the warmth the curve of the posts/legs bring to the clean lines of the overall design. The proportions really work. The cherry has darkened beautifully to a warm reddish midtone (this is very different from the dark burgundy of "cherry" stained wood), and the wood grain pattern on the headboards is lovely. The frame is solid, silent, and has brought scale appropriate dignity to our small bedroom. I'm confident it will look fabulous in our next, bigger, bedroom too. A real piece of furniture - very good looking.

Comments: Great bed frame. It's the perfect height and it does not require a box spring. The delivery men set it all up and I didn't have to do a thing. The construction seems very sturdy and we have been sleeping great.

Comments: I like the bed - it is clean, classic and elegant in design but it is too low to the floor - I think I'm going to buy one of those new, thicker mattresses to raise it a bit. Also, it is about two inches too wide for my current standard king mattress which often causes me to bang the heck out of my shins when I'm walking around in the bedroom.

Comments: We recently bought two of these in Walnut for our kid's room. They are so beautiful and of obvious quality they make me so happy. Very sturdy. The wood grain is just SO NICE. This was a big investment for us and I am really happy with the purchase. Delivery and service were excellent.
We had one natural twin and ordered a pillow top that was much thicker. They both look good on the beds but I probably prefer the look of the pillow top that is a bigger in the frame.

Comments: I saw this bed frame in an advert for a mattress company and was taken by its simplicity and beauty. When I learned it was from RB, I marched right down to the showroom to see if it was as beautiful in person. I was not disappointed. It is well built. The one detail that impressed me was the beveled edges; no sharp edges. The finish is achieved with wax or oil and it looks natural yet elegant, not glossy or "shellacked". We purchased the king bed in solid walnut and couldn't be happier.

Comments: We liked the sleek lines, rounded corner and walnut finish on this bed. The sales associate was very professional, and the bed arrived as promised. White glove delivery by very professional men. We have been using a free bed frame that comes with mattress for very long time, so this king sized bed was such a welcome change.
I was concerned by some comments here on the bed being squeaky, but after 3 months of use, there are no such signs. It is very sturdy.
Some things to remember through:
- The delivery happens on a weekly basis. If you are not available for that day, you have to wait another week.
- The king sized mattress, if not from RnB, will not fit. There are couple inches of gaps on the sides. We were forewarned though, but that doe snot make it any better. RnB needs to comply with the standard king sizes.
Mid-century details like solid wood turned and tapered legs and beveled edges lend an air of refinment to the Grove bed. Handcrafted by Pennsylvania woodworkers, Grove features an oil-and-wax finish that enhances the natural grain pattern of every panel of its solid wood construction.

GROVE CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
Learn how every part of our American-made Grove collection is created, from the materials and hardware to
construction methods and finish details.
Each Grove piece is constructed one at a time by an expert artisan. The entire case is reinforced
with time-tested joinery, built and assembled by hand and then hand sanded and finished before it
comes to you as a fully assembled piece. Our commitment to benchmade construction ensures you
receive furniture that's built to last a lifetime.
We source our solid woods within the U.S., which has some of the strictest forestry standards in
the world. Every board is hand selected for color consistency and strategically placed to create a
cohesive appearance. The natural markings of the wood make each Grove piece one of a kind. Grove is
constructed entirely from solid wood, except for the back panel and drawer boxes. Exterior back
panels are unfinished wood veneer, while visible interior backs are finished wood veneer that
matches the piece.
Every Grove piece is finished with oil and wax, which is designed to highlight grain patterns and
bring out the natural luster of the wood. Artisans apply this rich finish by hand and lightly buff
the surface for a subtle sheen. The oil moisturizes and seals the wood and the wax offers a layer of
light protection. We recommend applying our Satin Wax annually to maintain your Grove furniture.
Drawers and Glides
Each drawer front is solid wood and perfectly aligned within the frame of the piece. The drawer
boxes have Baltic birch plywood sides connected with dovetail joinery and a wood veneer bottom.
Full-extension ball-bearing glides allow you to see the entire drawer when fully open and glide
smoothly even when the drawer is filled to its 100-pound capacity. Drawer interiors are hand sanded
for a smooth feel and left unfinished.
Doors, Shelves and Hardware
All doors are built from solid wood and precisely inset within the frame of the cabinet.
Concealed, fully adjustable hinges open 110 degrees and give you the option to adjust the door
alignment for perfect functionality through years of use. Interior latches keep doors securely
closed. Some Grove pieces feature sliding solid wood doors with hidden hardware for nearly
effortless functionality. Shelves are made from solid wood and rest on adjustable steel pins. We
designed the mid-century-inspired solid wood base and knobs exclusively for the Grove collection.
