Comments: I was worried that dust would accumulate because of the design, but that is not the case. The biggest problem is that it scratches/dents easily, but I am very careful. The color is lovely against my gray walls. The bedroom set seems to make the room look larger.

Comments: Great bed well constructed. Worthy of five stars for sure. Wood is of great quality. Only downside is complicated to put together.....

Comments: This bed pulled all the elements of a major redecoration project perfectly together. Reaction to the room by others is consistently "your bedroom is magnificent!"

Comments: Aesthetically, the bed frame looks great, but the way that it is designed for the pieces to be connected together just does not make for a durable and sturdy product. Soon after the bed was delivered, the thin backing behind the headboard popped out since it is just tacked on with a few staples. Then not too long after that, the connector between the headboard and the side rail on the bottom cracked out since it is just one screw that is holding the two together. Hopefully the Room and Board will just replace the entire bed with a new Moro, or if the design flaws are still there, will exchange the entire bedroom set for a new design.

Comments: Just what I wanted. Solidly made. Quiet. Stylish. Also, I needed to find a bed in birch wood to match other bedroom furniture.

Comments: The Moro bed is extremely attractive, especially in Walnut. We love the way it looks. The bed does have a slight wobble that should have been shimmed by the installers - no house has a 100% flat and level floor. The bed is difficult to make due to the depth of the mattress pocket - even with a thin 'bunkie board' raising the mattress off of the support rails, it is difficult to get the sheets tucked in neatly. Be aware that if you buy a 100% memory foam mattress for this bed you will need a flat board or box spring to protect the mattress from sagging between the metal supports - a typical spring mattress is probably OK w/o. A box spring higher than 1-2" will make the bed look odd with less of the headboard visible than what R&B probably intended. All of that is annoying for a bed of this price, but what is unacceptable is the low quality construction of the headboard backing. The veneer portion between the horizontal slats is quite thin, bows under slight pressure and it is backed with a very thin & flimsy particle board. This is a major disappointment and shocking for a bed of this price. I thought this was going to be a long term solution for us, now I worry that it will last.
Vermont artisans create our Moro beds, crafting the striking design from solid wood. With a subtly Japanese-influenced style, these beds feature exceptional construction and durability.
