Comments: Maybe I just chose wrong, but this is *definitely* not a TV watching type of sofa. Maybe it's good looks are better suited to a formal living room.

Comments: Great, affordable sofa. Love the clean lines, and the fact that slipcovers are available that aren't the "shabby chic" look. Thanks R&B!

Comments: I love this sofa! We were looking for a perfect combination of the right size, mid-century sleek styling, and the perfect shape/fabric. After a long and exhaustive search, we found Jasper! My condo is small, also min-century, so the doors are all 32". It seemed impossible to find a large sofa with slim lines that would fit though the door. Jasper had perfect dimensions for me. Roomy and substantial, but works well in a small space. My boyfriend is 6'6" and he is able to fully lay down between the arms.
The seat is firm but comfortable. The fabric I have it in Cement) seems to hold up very well, even with 3 cats...one with claws. I have owned/lived on this sofa for 4 months and could not be more pleased.

Comments: The cushions do lose their shape a bit, so I then rotate them and this seems to remedy the issue! This sofa is great for sitting--you don't sink in, it's the right depth, and it also looks great, and attracts compliments for its design. For a sleeping/watching TV sofa, I'd recommend the larger size (or perhaps a different and deeper sofa.) The fabric is a bit scratchy, but I have a hunch it will hold up and weather use. All-in-all I'm very satisfied! You can jazz it up with accent pillows.

Comments: I looked for a sofa for ages before getting this one and I have to say, it was a great pick! For the construction, style, materials, etc - this was a great buy! I haven't had any problems with it and would definitely buy from Room&Board again. In fact, I'm thinking of getting the matching studio sofa.

Comments: This couch is sturdy and simple. The couch is firm, and the cushions are sturdy and firm. It is hard to find furniture for small in-town homes. All of the other couches we looked at were overstuffed with huge arm rests. We needed something small, simple and elegant. As for comfort, it is firm and comfortable. I can lay on it an watch a movie without getting uncomfortable.

Comments: We just completed a complete remodel to an older home. The house is now open and contemporary so we wanted a clean, contemporary yet comfortable look to our furniture and the Jasper is perfect. The fabric is casual, but the shape of the Jasper couch is sharp giving our living room a clean, crisp yet welcoming feel for our guests. We just love it!

Comments: In New Orleans, not many people decorate their homes in the modern style my husband and I love. So I had a difficult time finding sofas with the clean, modern lines we wanted to update our 17 year old Florida style contemporary home. After a great deal of research, I took a chance and ordered the Jasper 86" sofa and 60" loveseat sight unseen for our small formal living room.
When my sofas arrived, I could not have been more pleased. They are absolutely beautiful and they create the formal, yet very warm and inviting atmosphere that I wanted. Everyone who enters the house loves them and says they want to just sit down, relax, and enjoy a glass of wine.
Since they are in a formal LR, we don't use them daily, and we have only had them a month. However, the tweedy fabric looks durable and the sofas seem very well made. The seating is firm but comfortable. Unlike most sofas, the area where the two cushions meet is very comfortable, allowing for more people to fit on both sofas than you would think. I ordered them in Trip Linen, which looks beautiful with the Benjamin Moore Elmira White paint color on the walls.
My two Jasper sofas and two Room and Board slim end tables updated my LR beautifully. Now I can delay installing wood floors throughout the house for a couple more years, because my living room now feels so updated and lovely.
Mid-century styling meets modern comfort in the Jasper sofa. Narrow arms make the most of the seating space, while tapered legs give Jasper a light profile. Plush, blend-down cushions envelop you and the smaller-scale frame won’t overwhelm your space.

Made to the same high standards as all of our furniture, each one of our upholstery frames is built to last.
Kiln-dried, engineered hardwood
We use kiln-dried, engineered hardwood in all of our upholstery frames. Often used for structural beams, engineered
hardwood is made by pressing thin layers of solid wood together. Kiln-drying removes moisture, minimizing seasonal
expansion and contraction. This stable hardwood material resists warping and cracking for lasting durability.
We reinforce every joint in our frames for added stability. Precision-cut parts interlock like puzzle pieces and are
reinforced with eco-friendly glues, screws or staples and corner blocks. Reinforced joinery ensures your seating holds together,
even with years of frequent use.
A Dual Flexolator suspension consists of a tempered steel grid attached to the frame with small springs. Each seat has its own independent steel grid,
providing undisturbed comfort for each person on the sofa.
