TIPS FOR ALL FURNITURE

Blot spills immediately.
Avoid using household cleaners, spot removers, waxes and products that contain ammonia.
Do not set hot or damp items directly on furniture.
Use felt pads to protect surfaces from scratches and imprints.
If necessary, use a shim to ensure furniture sits evenly.

UPHOLSTERY

Over time, cushions will compress. Vacuum, fluff and rotate cushions monthly to keep them looking fresh and help them wear more evenly.
To minimize fading, avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight.
Avoid using spot removers and cleaning solutions.

Fabric

If your furniture has been treated with our fabric protection, blot spills immediately with a dry white cloth. Do not rub. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended. If you need cleaning codes or fabric content, call 800.301.9720. Note: Professional cleaning does not diminish the effectiveness of our fabric protection.

Advantage Fabric

Stain-resistant properties are penetrated through the fibers, not just applied to the surface. That means spills don't get a chance to sink in before you get a chance to wipe them up. In fact, liquids actually bead up, making them easy to clean. Advantage fabrics are noted in the Product Details of individual sofas and chairs.

Treat spills promptly. Follow these guidelines for best results, keeping in mind that some stains may not be completely removed.

A. Use a water-based soap solution of one tablespoon of laundry detergent per two cups of warm water. Dampen the cleaning cloth and gently blot away the spill. Do not rub. Rotate the cleaning cloth often and rinse with water to ensure complete removal of all soap residue.

B. Use a mild solvent-based residential upholstery cleaner and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Slipcovers

All slipcovers may be professionally cleaned.
For pre-washed fabrics, machine wash slipcovers in cold water on a gentle cycle. Close all Velcro® openings before washing. Tumble dry on a gentle or no-heat cycle until slightly damp, fit to frame and air dry.
