 I turn to the natural world and art museums. And I absorb lots of color and form inspiration from the Swedish landscape whenever I return.
I begin with colors, move to materials and then patterns. In each collection I look for balance—setting the right tone.
Design has to work—not just look good. I aim to create useful products that are attractive, but more importantly, are satisfying to the people who use them, and stand the test of time, both in quality and style. There is a real joy and sense of pride when I can look at something I did many seasons ago and still like it.

My goal has always been to create natural fiber linens that are accessible and designed for everyday use. I like designs that are not completely obvious and can be enjoyed in different moods, over time.
We like to say that our work is light-handed and light-hearted. We strive to create designs that are thoughtful, beautiful and practical.
