We're respectful of the history of design, but mindful of the demands of your lifestyle. The way we live
in our homes is ever changing. Because of this, we believe that furniture should be practical, functional and comfortable, as well as
beautiful and durable. It's our goal to always provide you with solutions that fit the way you live—however you live—and furniture that
truly allows you to relax in your home.
We believe that good design is timeless, not trendy. Our furniture and accessories offer a classic, simple
aesthetic with inspiration ranging from the 14th century to the present. By drawing upon great design movements and updating them for
today, we create pieces for your home that will look beautiful and live well for years to come.
Mid-20th-century modernism, Arts & Crafts and classic Asian design all have a transcendent quality that
we admire. Each movement has helped inspire our designs. For example, modernists like Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson believed
that design should be functional and affordable for everyone. We do too, The Arts & Crafts movement celebrated straightforwardness
in its furniture designs and used materials in honest ways that emphasized their natural beauty—a notion we wholly embrace.
The simplicity of our furniture highlights the beauty and strength of the natural materials we choose.
The inherent characteristics of solid wood like color and grain pattern, and other natural markings such as pin knots and pitch
pockets can vary widely, resulting in more one-of-a-kind furniture. Each granite tabletop is beautifully unique. Bamboo, a grass,
has a silky texture and an uncommon pattern, plus it's remarkably strong and eco-friendly. We love the durability, richness and
individuality that solid woods, bamboo, steel, glass and granite provide—and believe that you will too.
