"If you're looking for immediate gratification when decorating, indulge yourself with a few well-placed accessories. Most people lose steam and never quite make it to that final layer when they decorate a room. Make the room a reflection of your personality. "When we walk into a room, our eyes travel, taking in the colors, textures and patterns. I like to say that accessories are the things that we feel at our heart level, because they give the room its energy and mood in a subtle, almost imperceptible, way. "Bedrooms are often forgotten when decorating—and that's too bad, because in many ways, it's the most important room. It's your inner sanctum. It should honor you, recharge you and allow you to find the calm you need.
