Directions:

1. Lean headboard upright near desired placement. Insert 2 barrel nuts (Figure 1) into each post of headboard leaving screw driver slot showing.
2. Using screwdriver, turn barrel nuts so threaded hole lines up with hole in end of side rail.
3. Insert a bolt from back of headboard (Figure 2), through side rail and into barrel nut. Tighten lightly with allen wrench. Repeat process with other side rail.
4. Lean footboard upright. Insert 2 bolts in each post and through threaded insert nuts that are embedded into wood (Figure 3). Insert in both ends before tightening.
5. After completing final step, firmly tighten all bed joints.
6. Attach last slat with shelf pegs across pin holes near footboard and headboard. Insert center support bar into U-blocks on headboard and footboard. Place first slat across small pin holes, at top of bed, and unroll slats along side rails. Attached webbing will hold slats evenly in place.
7. Place mattress on slats.

Note: Wood naturally expands and contracts causing bed connections to loosen over time. This process is a natural characteristic of wood. Tighten hardware occasionally to restore the bed to original stability.
