I love Room and Board. I have shopped here for 20+ years. In that time I have have always come away happy, with one exception -- The Vela Sofa. Part of the challenge is that I upgraded the fabric to Doss Bone. After nine months of living with this sofa, the Doss Bone has not softened. Meanwhile I keep visiting this sofa at the store and enjoy the soft, flexible fabric that comes standard. That said the sofa is too low to the ground so much so that it's difficult get out of the sofa and it is not comfortable long sits, watching movies, etc. While not an idea primary sofa, this stylish piece to would work well in a bedroom or home office. Still, I remain a fan of Room and Board.
