These chairs are so light I can pick one up with one hand, and yet they are very sturdy. They go perfectly with a Shaker style table that my husband made from a black walnut tree from our backyard. The wood grain is beautiful in the top horizontal pieces. The only con is that in traditional Windsor chairs there is more contouring in the seats, and they are more comfortable for that reason. They also cost twice as much as these. Still, these are comfortable enough. We also move them around to use as a desk chair, and will use them in the living room if we have additional guests. Extremely versatile!

These chairs are fantastic! I am so pleased every time I walk in my dining room. Looked for years to find chairs the right size for our overly tall, handmade dining table and these are perfect. They are big, but very well proportioned. They feel very solid and well constructed without being heavy. I only gave 4/5 stars, because I have not had them long enough to see how they'll hold up. I suspect they will be favorites for years to come.

Very much like this chair for style and comfort. Only issue is the arms are slightly too high that the chair cannot be slid under the table when pushed in.
