Case Study

Summary

Description

Add a touch of Mid-Century modernism with our Case Study Planters. The mix of matte glazed ceramic and weatherproof Brazilian walnut creates a sculptural foundation for your flowers or greenery. You can oil the wood to keep its rich color, or allow it to develop a silver patina. These elegant planters can be used indoors or out, but we recommend bringing them inside if temperatures drop below freezing.

Customer comments about Large White Planter with Walnut Stand:

I placed a drain saucer at the bottom of the ceramic container and placed an already potted plant inside. This is my normal practice with house plants because it's easy to discard a plant that isn't doing well without creating a mess. I filled the small gap between the plant and the container sides with decorative rock. It looks great.

Two months in and there is mold growing on the outside of the container. Otherwise attractive, decent design. Overpriced.

I set a nice house plant which is in a plastic container so it will drain into the nice planter and I don't have to worry about overwatering.

              Hi!

I am wondering if this is sturdy enough for a fig leaf tree in the long term?

What a great classic look that would be. This is definitely a sturdy planter and not merely decorative. We would defer to a plant expert to let you know what depth you need to support a taller tree. The depth of the pot will give you about 12".
