I really like my beautiful couch, it was definitley very firm upon arrival but after a few weeks has softened up and I hope will continue to do so. It is a great and comfortable piece. It is a good mix of cushy and firm. It is a high quality couch for the price.
Service and delivery comments:
The service at room and board is really outstanding from the in store sales people to the delivery calls to the delivery people. Delivery people VERY nice, helpful and prompt. Their customer service is really exceptional, especially in comparision to the numerous other home stores out there that customer service does not seem to be a priority for.

it is in our den and gets heavy use every day. It's super comfortable and the perfect size. Our cats love it, too. So far, no complaints.

Delivery was right on time and the crew was extremely quick, careful and friendly. They did not leave until they were satisfied that we were happy, knew how to open the sofa and use the air pump.

I live in a 3,300 square foot apartment with an 1,100 square foot adjoining guest unit. The subject sofa is in the living room of the guest unit and allows guests to sleep in both the bedroom and the living room. I have two children who live in Norway and who visit regularly with their families, so the arrangement is ideal (mom and dad sleep in the bedroom; the kids sleep in the living room). This is my second such sofa. The other one is in the office of the larger unit and is used for my afternoon naps. I love the thing.

We bought this piece to compliment our three-cushion metro sofa. Both normally reside in our busy family room (we have 3 kids under age 3). We find both sofas easy to keep clean and tough enough to handle the kids and our dog. When we have guests, we easily move this sofa into our office (for more privacy and quiet) and use it as a bed. We love that the sofa includes a blow-up mattress and think it is extremely comfortable.
