Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
These are beautiful and comfortable chairs. Because of concerns we read about difficulty of assembly, we followed the recommendations to assemble with 2 people, taking our time, and on a softer surface (grass or box). The first chair took a bit of time with two, but once I figured out how pieces went together I easily did the second one by myself. We use these chairs on our front porch and had concerns that they may not be high enough to see over the railing (~36") of the porch but they work fine. They look stunning on our porch and help make the porch/front of our house pop! Love that they are made of recycled material! Easy to clean & impervious to the elements. We plan to leave them out all year long, so I will be curious to see how they hold up in Iowa weather on a covered porch. We love them! Bottle opener is a bonus!

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
Ive had these for 4 years now, maybe longer. They look like the day I brought them home. I have 2 black Emmett.Easy to care for, look amazing, comfortable. I hose off every so often. Easy to wipe the marshmallows and wine off. They seem pricy at first, but then you realize its a great value. The cheesy Home Depot stuff would of been replaced 4 X by now. Love um. Wish I could have this collection indoors. Hubby wouldn't approve!

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
These are honestly the perfect outdoor chairs. They are pitched to shed rainwater, are super-easy to hose down, weigh a ton (ie very well made and they will not move), are very comfortable, and look just great (and like new--even when several years old). I keep buying more and more... First for the deck, then for the pool, now for the tennis court. Best R&B purchase ever.

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
It doesn't get any better than this chair. Bulletproof contruction (won't budge in strong winds) and extremely comfortable. And a hidden bottle-opener (under the right arm). The perfect chair to enjoy the sunset with a cold beer. It's low enough that you can put your drink on the ground without being difficult to get in or out of. Or you can put it on the armrest (which is flat). Everybody who comes over to my place comments on these chairs and wants to know where I got them. You really can't go wrong here........

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
built in bottle opener? just reading that now and I was not aware....
anyway, these chairs are very nice, quality built, heavy. However I don't recommend them if you are overweight because they are very narrow and big butts don't fit! the style is beautiful and clean. we got the white ones which are nice. I noticed that they retain wetness for a long time after the morning dew or a wet day - they require a wipe down. But I think they will be durable and last for many years to come.

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
Love this chair, along with it's Ottoman mate. We bought two in red (great, deep and bright) -- looks great on the green lawn against the white stucco house. A wonderful pop of color that friends and neighbors have all commented on.

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
Very sturdy with easy to clear finish. I like that this product is made from recycled material. The bottle opener is a nice feature but the placement seems a little awkward under the arm rest. In any case, still a great looking piece. The green colon stands out nicely on our otherwise boring deck.
Service and delivery comments:
R&B has some of the best delivery staff around. Always professional and very meticulous about delivering, setting up, and adjusting furniture as needed.

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
These chairs look great and they're very comfortable. Simple clean lines, hip take on a classic adirondack chair. Great finish for outdoors and easy to clean. The bottle opener is a nice plus for the lazy among us who are in need of another cold beverage but don't want to move from watching a gorgeous sunset.

Customer comments about Emmet Lounge Chair:
These chairs are beautiful. I bought the white so they add a nice clean look on our patio. I have mixed them with my grey benches and they blend nicely. They are comfortable and we just hose them down to clean them. They look like wood which just adds to the richness of this product.

Q:
Could you please tell me what the "finish" is on this chair.
When I blow up the picture of the chair it looks like there is "pebbled" look to the finish.
Please advise.Asked on 5/10/2013 by mid century girl from Sag Harbor, NY1 answer
DESIGN ASSOCIATE
A:
There is a slight texture to the recycled polyethylene material used on the Emmet collection. Texture would be comparable to that of an orange peel.Answered on 5/10/2013 by Design Associate from Room & Board
