Newman
Description
Barnett Newman is well-known as one of the foremost Color Field painters, often using monumental scale to take abstraction to its farthest reaches. His 1970 piece "Mitternachtsblau" is reproduced as a serigraph.
Serigraphy is a process in which multiple layers of ink are manually pressed through fine screens which replicates the unique qualities of the original artwork.
