I use this on a chest for a hallway night light (I put a nightlight bulb in it rather than the CFL candelabra bulb that came with it). It's perfect for that. The crystal teardrop base is really nice looking. The only thing that could be better is that the oyster shade, being translucent, has three dark spots around the bottom where the metal support is affixed. I had to turn it this way and that get the best look to the shade from where I usually pass this lamp.

Beautiful lamp. Good for bedside table. Height includes shade. Would have liked larger size but too expensive. It is a solid crystal and good quality silk shade.

I bought this lamp a couple years ago and had to return it two or three times because the dimmer switch kept breaking (it hissed and sizzled when turned up all the way and sometimes the light went out). Room and Board was always great about replacing it. I used the most recent replacement without a hitch until this week, when the bulb burned out and took the dimmer switch with it. Now the light switches on and off--no dimmer. Something is wrong with that piece! It's way too temperamental.

I returned this product upon receiving it. I was aware of the dimensions prior to making my purchase but regardless the lamp did not make sense in the space for which it was intended. It is a pretty lamp but very wee.

My parents surprised me with this lamp for my birthday. It is a stunning new addition to our living room - and it has been a practical addition to the space as well. We have a more modern esthetic overall, but we absolutely love it. It was very easy to assemble. It is very heavy (!) and very well made.

The quality with this item has been a problem. The light, even when screwed in tightly, does not always turn on. It requires frequent jiggling to get it to work. I will probably have to return it. Disappointing for an item with such a large price tag.
