I understand that, with wood, there will be imperfections. But it seems to me that there are too many on the piece I received. There are some tiny holes and many places with small dents. To top it all there are some areas where the drawer doors rest on the frame that are not completely stained.

i love this item but I recommend measuring to be sure that it will not overwhelm the room. I am exchanging it for the six drawer model but the styling is beautiful and I love the finish which I got in a gray wash.

We got the entire bedroom set (bed, 2 drawer chests, bedside tables) and it just looks beautiful. Very sturdy and well-made. We had some scratches right from the start since our cat decided to run into our bedstand lamps (which are now gone), but the scratches are almost invisible since the wood is so high quality.
On a different note, we had a great crew of delivery people and installers - on time, fast, and knowledgeable. First time this happened in a long time.

We purchased two Calvin dressers and nightstands, and we are very happy with all the pieces. The finish is especially nice. The only reason for four stars is the dresser drawers sound like they rub when opening and closing.
