I bought the orange one for my son's room and we both loved it. I then came back two weeks later and ordered another in white and I took the orange and gave him the white. Excellent for getting direct light on my work or reading without lighting up the whole room. Great design, low and high switch and really heavy, stable base. And the fact that it stays cool makes it great for him to read in bed and adjust the position without scorching his fingers. I love it. He loves it. Yay!

I love this lamp & got it in the black...it's minimal & sleek, but the light output is not great when working at night. The light sheds straight down & not more overall. I will keep but am supplementing with my old desk lamp as well. Just a big disappointed as this is an expensive lamp.

We were debating between the green and orange lamp, and, although I think either would have been great, we went with the green. It's looks really nice without being too ostentatious on our work desk, which is in the living room.

It's a good lamp but I would expect it to be better. My only complaints are that the light output is a bit weak. I think that in a dark room a desk lamp should cast enough light on a desk to allow you to work without wanting more light. In a dark room I definitely want more light on the desk than this lamp can provide. In a room with decent ambient lighting such as windows on a sunny day this lamp really serves no purpose as it doesn't add enough lumens to compete with the ambient lighting.
My other complaint is that the pivot points are a little too loose so it doesn't hold in all positions.
I'm glad to have this lamp but it will end up being a bedside or accent light rather than a desk lamp.
