We have a small apartment, but wanted to get nice chairs that we can have with us through the years. The lines on these are beautiful. I'd always been in love with the Wishbone chair, but when my boyfriend sat in it, he said it was too uncomfortable. I'm so glad those didn't work out, as the Soren chairs are just (if not more) aesthetically pleasing (as well as comfortable). The walnut finish is absolutely beautiful. Hopefully, we'll have a bigger table in the future to purchase more!

We spent a long time looking for dining chairs to replace our existing chairs. We wanted something a little unique with a good choice of woods so we could blend the chairs with a light wood dining table. These chairs have a nice design, nice finish and solid.

Our black Soren dining chairs offer a great contrast to our Danish modern walnut dining table. They are reasonably comfortable for chairs that don't have cushions. Unfortunately, they are expensive and the dowels squeak when you move around. But they make a great statement and are wonderful to look at.

We bought these in ebony to go with a walnut dining table. They look fabulous and we get tons of compliments -- even from another furniture builder! They pretty much "make" the room. Once we saw them, we knew we would never find any that we liked better, and even my very budget-conscious husband thought them to be the right pick. We like having non-upholstered dining chairs (we have toddlers) that still look very high-style.

I wouldn't gush if it wasn't earned, but I really can't think of a way Room & Board could improve its service. Every time I buy from them, absolutely nothing annoying happens. I cancelled this order, for example, when it was already on the truck in order to change my mind on the finish of the chairs and the fabric of a sofa I ordered. The whole hassle was absorbed by Room & Board at no cost to me, and they could not have been nicer about it.

We bought a cherry pair to go with a mix of others (black Ikea/maple Paul McCobb) around our glass/aluminum dining table. These chairs are super comfortable. The shape of the taper at the ends of the top rail/arm rests is a really nice detail and the form feels great in the hand.

We are currently working with Room and Board, and will probably select different chairs. This gorgeous chair is often pictured with the Saarinen dining table, but if you push them in the slightest too much, they scratch and dent. They really don't pair with this table due to the arms. Just sitting in them has scratched and dented them. I am not sure if the wood is too soft, or the finish isn't strong enough, but they are very precious. Owning them for a little over a month, they look like they've been around for years (in a home of 2 responsible adults).

My first four years of college I sat in a regular office chair. The next six I will be sitting in this work of art. It is absolutely comfortable and you can certainly trust me on this, I have already spent hundreds of hours in it. The walnut is warm and comforting.
