The drawer slides for these two dressers are so loud and rocky I don't know where to put them as you can hear them being open and closed from downstairs!! I have an ikea dresser in the horse stable outside that functions better than this beautiful walnut set...
The cost to custom install better drawer slides is not an option- what should I do with them??

My wife and I use this as a secondary dresser in our master bedroom. It was the dresser for us for a couple reasons: its skinny dimensions allow it to fit conveniently in a corner of our bedroom; and its smaller drawers are well suited for socks, underwear, swimwear and other items that kinda get lost in the large drawers of a traditional dresser. It does exactly what we intended it to do plus it looks great doing it.

These pieces are beautiful and are very well made. Some people remarked on the flimsy drawer mounts and I see what they are saying but I don't think it's a reason no to get the furniture. They are sturdy, you just have to be aware to apply equal pressure to both sides of the drawer as you push or pull it. I don't know much about furniture but I'm guessing the play in the drawer mounts also allows it to glide so smoothly when there is balanced pressure.

One of our pieces in this set arrived with two very minor scratches. They were barely noticeable with the way we had them positioned and had I not spend so much money on the set I would have just left them. To put my mind at ease I brought it up to R+B and they sent someone out to repair it. He was here for 15 min. and afterwards you couldn't tell there was even a problem.

Love the furniture and the experience shopping with R+B. Was tempted to give it 5 stars but if perfect is the criteria I suppose drawers that require minimal instruction to open wouldn't be perfect.

We LOVE the design of the Hudson line. I read the reviews about the drawers not working great, but decided to try anyway. The drawers are very long and need to be pushed in simultaneously from both sides, otherwise they catch a bit. But for me, that is a small price to pay for such a gorgeous piece.

The love this piece along with the others I purchased around the same time. I can see how people have mentioned the drawers being an issue. I believe the issue is really about how many handles are on the drawer in question. If you have a single handle like the one found on the nightstands it's not an issue. If you have a dresser with two handles (wider/heavier drawer) and you don't pull the drawer open by both handles I think this is where rails get kinked per other comments. I haven't had any issues with either my dresser or night stands per the knowledge above. On a side note I do wish the rails were a little beefier.

This looked great in the showroom. To be fair, everything I don't like about the dresser, I should have noticed in the showroom and for some reason I did not. The drawers are very shallow so the don't not hold what I wanted them to hold. The construction of the drawers does not seem solid...when you glide them out they move from side-to-side...it doesn't seem high end.

We bought this to match our bed and nightstands. It's beautiful and great quality. My only con is the drawers are not that deep and you can't fit that much in it.

I was reluctant to make this selection because of the reviews, but I liked the design and the sales person assured me that this is their best selling series and she was not aware of any problems. After 4 months the drawers are sticking and falling off of their rollers (which seem very flimsy). The delivery process was excellent and I admit that I haven't yet reported this problem. Not sure what they can do about it, though.
