I pretty much live in the family room. I live alone, so I study, eat, talk on the phone, do paperwork, relax, work and play on my laptop, everything. The room isn't very big, so I don't want to have two bulky end tables that I have to reach around to get or put anything on (especially beverages).

I love that whatever I need is within easy reach, and I don't have end tables to walk around or into.

The only frustrating thing about it is that because it has no lip anywhere, my pens seem to be constantly rolling off. I can see why they don't have a lip on it, but it would be nice to have one somewhere, maybe along the back?

It's not exactly a style statement in the room, which is okay with me. If you're looking for something with personality and charm, this is not your piece. If you're going strictly for function, it serves its purpose very well.

I'm also not sure why it costs so much, but I looked around a lot and this was the best quality for the money, I am sure.

Its an excellent table for a smaller room. The height works with most contemporary sofas, the metal finish and color works with a variety of palettes, and its elegant proportions contribute to the room as a whole.

Purchased two Slim C-Shaped Tables in natural steel to be paired with an R&B Comfort Sleeper (Dawson, 2010) in my vacation rental where guests' use will include laptop work and snacking. The sleeper's carriage mechanism sits too close to the floor to allow the C-Table to slide all the way in from the sofa side and over the arm. The table does clear the arm in height, however. And, it does slide all the way in from the front. I had expected the tables to nestle all the way in over the sofa arms where it would cross a seated persons' lap, and, that this would save space. Not so. I returned the second table. This would not be a problem pairing with a sofa that was not a sleeper. VERY weighty. Well constructed. Sturdy. Will last a lifetime. Tarnishes easily.

Just what I needed for my laptop or cup of coffee. I always get what I pay for from Room & board. If an issue arrises it's always taken care of in a timely respectful manner.

Great product. The steel finish always looks good, so I'm not having to wipe it down like a glass finish top.

It's sleek design keeps it somewhat 'invisible' so it does not take up any space or add bulk.
I would definitely buy another one.

I use this table about every day. Works perfect with my R&B sofa for setting drinks, paper, etc. I can't imagine not having it.

We use this table in our family room for many purposes: homework, eating dinner, holding drinks. Very handy that it slips under the leg of the couch and over the arm. Like the industrial look of the natural steel. Will probably purchase a second one so we have two work spots in the family room.

We love this product and will buy two more for our second home. This one is used by a chair to hold snacks, magazines, reading material.
