I love the look of this table - the iron base is perfect but not cold as some iron can be. The reclaimed wood top is beautiful, very durable, cleans easily and because of the finish I have no concerns about it showing the scratches/discoloration that can happen over time - they would only add to the character. Highly recommend this table. It's very worth the price.

Six years ago we bought the Parsons glass-topped dining table. Still love it. Recently purchased the cocktail table and it's working out wonderfully too. I love the fact that the glass and steel are pet-proof, as we have two big dogs and a cat. They can't hurt it.

We live in rural Oregon, so there is no store near us. In the past I've made purchases online and the flat delivery rate has been affordable and practical. But this time we were purchasing only two pieces and we were visiting Seattle on a trip, so we made our purchase at the Seattle store. It was the store's opening weekend so it was busy, but all was handled smoothly. On our next trip to Seattle we picked up our items at the warehouse. Since it was three months later, I was afraid our stuff might be lost or we might have to pay a warehousing fee. But no. Everything turned out great.

Beautiful piece. The steel base looks really great with the Walnut top. This is actually our second coffee table. The first had an imperfection in the steel base and Room and Board was wonderful about exchanging it right away. My only complaint is the walnut top looks fantastic, but it is not gong to be as durable as I would expect from a solid maple piece. The wood is a little softer than expected and we are going to have to either cover it or keep our kids away from it.

Great table - simple, classic design. Very sturdy, great size. I have the maple version and wish it was slighly darker to match the rest of my woodwork, but it still works well. Also,love the matte finish.

Our 36 inch square glass top cocktail table is a modern classic for our living room; we have the high shag rug in ivory under it, so you can see the shaggy texture of the rug through the glass---a nice juxtaposition. Besides taking up very little visual space in our small house, I love the fact that the glass top is so low maintenance---just a little Windex and it's clean, with no worries about water stains from drink glasses. And I like that the tops can be changed without buying a whole new table----very practical and "green."

As always, Room and Board delivery and customer service is unbeatable. Our Parsons glass top 36 inch square cocktail table arrived with a scratch in the natural steel base. R & B promptly sent out another base, the glass top was removed from the damaged one and set atop the new one and voila---new table. We have had several deliveries by Room and Board, and their service is always prompt, courteous and efficient. No wonder they are eating up the competition.

This table is by far the sturdiest and most beautiful piece of furniture we own. It's a wonderful size for games and entertaining. I love it so much I think I'm going to buy a dining table in the same style!
