First frame arrived shattered. Doesn't sound unusual from the other comments I have read. Took a chance and purchased another because I loved the walnut.
While disassembling the frame to insert the print, I thought to myself how scary it was to be handling such a thin piece of glass in such a large format (purchased the 11x14 size)...and as if the gods had heard me...snap! The corner snapped off as I was trying to reinsert the glass back into the frame.
The frame back design is such that it is difficult to add artwork. I would never recommend displaying anything original or precious in these frames as the hanging bar is questionable and the glass is very thin...recipe for disaster.
These need a redesign.

Hey, guess what? The glass was broken when we received. Sounds like normal occurence. Perhaps offer a non glass option for those of us that order through the mail.

The matte opening is not 8x10, which presented a problem for displaying my art. The opening is actually 7.5 x 9.5. I had to return it due to lack of information on the product.

These frames are great for showcasing art. We have a number of photography prints and wanted to create a mini-gallery in our small dining area. Instead of getting each print individually framed, we bought the Profile frame in walnut (to go with our mid-century decor), so we could switch up prints periodically. The walnut frame instantly warmed up the room, but the minimalist frame didn't take away from the photography or other items in our dining area. I bought a few more of the frames for other rooms in our house. I could get these in an even bigger size for other artwork!
Also, the only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars is because the packaging was very flimsy, so the glass in some of the frames broke. R&B was super nice about handling the exchanges, but it was still a hassle/extra few steps.
