Nelson
Description
Part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, these sculptural pendant lamps are designed by George Nelson. Instant icons of mid-century modernism when introduced in 1947, they are constructed of a steel wire frame and covered with translucent plastic, emitting a soft, even light.

Customer comments about Nelson Propeller Pendant:
This light is so much more spectacular in person than a photograph can capture. I was super hesitant to purchase in that my husband did not like the light as pictured. Once he hung it, however, he changed his mind and loves it as much as I do. Buy it!

Customer comments about Nelson Propeller Pendant:
We had to bring in a professional electrician to install our light since we have a loft space with high ceilings. Also, we had to reroute wiring that used to be dedicated to a sconce. It was worth the trouble because it has a great look. It not only lights the room but it looks like a sculpture suspended in air.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was good. The packaging was good and secure too.

Customer comments about Nelson Propeller Pendant:
I bought this as one of 4 Nelson lamps to decorate and light my townhouse. The propeller lamp is the most attractive of the group because of the alternating wires defining its shape. It looks great in any light. Bright sunlight coming in through the window creates shading that shows off its sculptural quality. When used as a light source it takes on a different, but equally attractive character. It is a pleasure to have this simple and relatively inexpensive classic work of industrial design hovering above the dining room table.

Customer comments about Nelson Propeller Pendant:
Great light! Interesting texturized rubber stretched over a metal framework. I thought it was going to be more of a paper substance, but this seems much more durable.

Customer comments about Nelson Propeller Pendant:
I love the design of these Nelson pendants and the way it looks in our dining room, which is more of an alcove than a separate room. I was not fond of the price, so I was delighted with the Room and Board sale!
Service and delivery comments:
I had to wait a little while--it was not shipped immediately, however I purchased it during a sale.

Customer comments about Nelson Propeller Pendant:
This light transformed our dinning room from a modern area into a scandinavian dinning retreat. We love how it glows above our oak table.
