This table is very well-made, and very beautiful. I have it in my newly renovated kitchen, and it looks fabulous. I ordered the darkest color and was worried it might look too black, but it doesn't - it's warmer and goes well with my mahogany cabinets. A simple but elegant table – really love it and get lots of compliments!

No issues with the delivery, or condition of the table. Everything went smoothly and the Room and Board staff was professional and helpful throughout the process.

At first I was concerned about the markings on the table but soon realized that was the grain of the wood and was natural. I have not had any issues whatsoever with water marks or stains or scratches but I am not hard on my table. I use a cotton placemat. Its modern looking and very much in style with what I like!

I purchased this table in cherry for use in my eat in kitchen. I did 4 chairs and a bench which looks great and is very functional. The wood is so beautiful and the table has nice clean lines and is very sturdy. You can tell the construction is high quality. Delivery service was great. Well worth the money. Look forward to enjoying this table for a long time.

Overall great table and very happy with quality. Got 2 matching benches as well (terrific for kids). Already several compliments with anyone that sees it. Unfortunately won't order anything from RB that requires delivery again- See delivery comments.

Service and delivery comments:

Probably one of the worst delivery experiences for a large furniture/home piece. No flexibility at all. When they email you to "schedule delivery" it's really to tell you when your table will be shipping (and even if in stock, could be a month from purchase date). They give you a 2 week window and just before the 2 week window, they give you a better estimate. Of my 2 week window, there was 1 day that was going to be difficult and of course, that's the day they chose to deliver. If I couldn't arrange for someone to be there, "no problem, they can re-deliver on the next shipping route" which would have been another 2 weeks and it had already been close to a month.

ive looked forever for a table and chair set with no luck. although its pricey its the only one my wife and i can agree on. had quite a few imperfections and im not talking about the natural ones of the wood. i sent one back for a new one because of a very large dark mark on it and when the new one got here it was worse off because of the ripples on the finish from getting wet? (rained the day of the delivery)and had an embedded dirt mark from rubbing on something. i dont know, for the price its not worth it. i keep telling myself it will get a little banged up anyway, i have two kids.i guess ill keep it. not all that happy, delivery options for a working person [*]!!! and thats the only people who could afford it?

My wife fell in love with this table, being walnut we thought it would hold up for our every day use.
However within days it has scratched up and shows every mark. Walnut is supposed to be a strong wood, not in this case.. It is a beautiful table to have in a room that isn't used every day. If we could return it we would.

by far nicest quality piece in this price range. wood quite beautiful although be aware the natural finish does mean there can be tiny pits where there are knots. but I suspect that's true for all similar finishes. we are using as a formal dining table and definitely works for that if you like something simple.

We purchased this table in maple to go with six Jake chairs in blue, and couldn't be happier with how well all of them work together. The quality of the wood in this table is really striking--finely grained and beautifully finished--and the size ideal for six [friendly] adults. The proportions of this table are excellent; while there are other Parsons-like tables on the market, we feel that R & B has managed to find an ideal ratio for each of the Andover table's elements, so that even the square legs look elegant, not heavy. No mere butcher block table here--this is an heirloom piece.
