The 36" desk in walnut is gorgeous and good for smaller spaces. It is definitely more visually striking and pleasing from the side, so consider that when ordering it for your space. $1200 may seem like a lot to spend on a small desk, but the build and finish are second to none and meant to last forever. Drawer pulls and hardware have a great feel to them.
There's also sensible cable routing from the keyboard tray to under the desk in order to minimize cords hanging onto your knees.

It's gorgeous and very well made. I'm very happy with this purchase.I'm a little on the short side... 5'3"... so it's a high for a desk without doing any modifications to it. I'll have to install a keyboard tray to stay ergo. I hate to do that since the desk is so beautiful, but it's a must-have accessory.[...]
