This chair is small and yet big enough to sit on it a long time and watch TV. I use it as a small armchair, modern, good looking and non imposing. To be perfect, the seat should be a little deeper so that I would not have to sit so straight against the padded back.

We use these two chairs in our dining room.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was prompt. However, I noticed when I sat down in the chairs that the chrome metal finish is subpar. It is rough to the hands when you touch the arms - almost like metal burrs. The manufacturer dod not completely polish/finish the chrome work.
I arranged for the chairs to be replaced. When the delivery guys brought the replacement chairs, only was was acceptable. The second chair's chrome finish was WORSE than the original. So they took that away.
I am still waiting to hear back from Room & Board on what the plan is to replace the second chair.

If you sit near the front edge of the chair, it will tip forward, pivoting on the front "feet". Almost knocked myself out on our granite top desk! Otherwise, we love it.

We are using four of these chairs with the Saarinen 47" round table and we love them. They look fantastic and are so very comfortable. Well made and good looking. My husband is tall and we spent a great deal of time sitting on different dining chairs in the showroom, most were not accommodating of his long legs. But these are perfect. Be careful when you lean forward in them though as they can kind of tip outward!

I have four of these chairs around a glass dining room table, and two wood/fabric chairs at the head and foot of the table. The chairs are so elegant and simple, yet rich looking, so they combine with any other style. They were delivered to me with some leather seaming issues, but R&B sent someone to my home immediately to fix it-no charge, with the promise to fix them if anything else happened again. Everyone who sits in these chairs absolutely loves them, no matter what size or age they are. Couldn't be happier.
