I live in a 1920's Arts and Craft Bungalow. I have a combination of Oriental/Arts and Craft furniture and decor. I use this mattress in my primary bedroom. I have a platform bed...with another traditionally sized mattress, my bed would somehow look like a marshmallow on tooth picks. This mattress works perfectly. The staff were very helpful in helping me make this decision. Their knowledge of their products were spot on!

I bought this for the top of my Room and Board bunk bed. This was the only supportive low-profile twin mattresses I could find. The others I found were springy, hard, and uncomfortable - not what I want for my kids. This mattress has individual coils and decent padding, so it is much more supportive. It is comfortable and I would sleep on it myself - I actually did and was very happy with it. [...] I deducted a star for price.

The low profile bed is surprisingly comfortable and the fact is its only about 7 inches thick its feels firm and its light not like the newer beds which are just so heavy-I've had it for a couple of months and really feel comfortable. I would recommend and I'm using it on the steel platform bed which is strong sturdy and looks very minimal.
