This is a beautiful piece of furniture. The back and bottom drawer are made of cedar. Had an addition put on and my new bedroom is half the size of my room upstairs. Needed a bedroom set that was off the floor to give the illusion of more space. I am very happy with this purchase.
Service and delivery comments:
Someone forgot to put my furniture on the truck and my delivery was several weeks late. I was not happy. Customer service handled the matter satisfactorily. The company still gets a 5 for the quality of the furniture.

it looks good, has long legs, and made of beautiful solid natural maple wood. I wish it had door lock, door magnets like restoration hardware armoires, and came in different sizes (wider, deeper, higher). doors start bending and do not close shut after a while. if it had door magnets in the middle like restoration hardware armoires that i just bought, magnets would hold door shut and prevent thin wooden doors from beding out.

She moved in and it was gone. Inch by inch my presence in the shared closet became smaller. I tried everything, getting rid of my old clothes, her clothes, but this vicious problem kept attacking our daily lives. Finally, I realized that the only way to approach this was to buy an armoire, but not just any armoire. No, you see, I've had my share of poorly built, flimsy furniture pieces. I am an adult now and my wardrobe has become an investment, a collection of defined pieces for every occasion. I had developed a history, a relationship with my clothes much like the girl that had moved in. They, like her, deserved a more refined and quality home and I being a modern man was going to provide the best and most appropriate solution possible. The Calvin armoire is that solution. It's quality construction, durability and ample storage are a perfect match for my clothing collectibles. They will share a long term relationship and will help sustain mine with her.

I store extra clothes and sweaters in the armoire and it has been great. It is well made, beautiful to look at and plenty of extra clothes fit in it, that our small closet doesn't hold. We have the natural maple finish and it gorgeous.
I also love that it is made in the US!
