Lights are striking looking but unstable design. After 2 months in a protected corner, 72" lamp fell over without provocation knocked over and shattered 72' and 60" lights. Directions do not specify to place on hard floor, not carpet.
I am disappointed manufacturer didn't take any responsibility e.g. by providing any discount on the replacement shades.
Recommend placing on a hard floor

This lamp is used as an accent lamp in our condo/loft. It has an adequate amount of illumination, and allows for "mood lighting" when wanted, due to dimmer. I love the simplistic design. The only drawback, is cleaning. The main plastic unit is covered in a sheer material that is hard to dust. It also allows for dust to get into the lamp...it's challenging to clean the inside to say the least.

Have a large loft with no overhead lighting and this floor lamp provides a good amount of light and looks more like sculpture than a lamp.

I was unsure of the amount of light from the lamp but was basically looking for accent lighting. This fits in beautifully with my decor and as the light can be adjusted, it provides more than just accent lighting. I am very pleased with this lamp.

I ordered this w/o seeing it in person, which as a big mistake. Aside from my disappointment with the cheap plastic/fragile fabric construction and the poor light production, was the lamp's uncanny resemblance to the WTC light memorial. This poor lamp very quickly became a joke among my friend, and I quickly and very happily returned it. I'd recommend that anyone who lives in NYC or who has any emotional connections to 9/11 think twice before purchasing! Thanks to R&B for the full refund.

Great, clean design that's a rare find. Too bad one of the two bulb sockets didn't work. Fortunately the distribution center was only a dozen miles from home and Room & Board agreed to swap just the base, excluding the 6' shade for ease of transport. A new base had to be reordered which also added even more time. For the price, this quality control issue is a bit disappointing.
