We were looking for a comfortable couch for a basement family room--and one that could fit down a fairly narrow stairway. This one fits the bill perfectly. The legs were removable, so despite its relatively large size, it made it through a 29.5" wide opening. The gray velvet fabric has just a bit of blue in it, which looks great with the natural stone of our fireplace. It also seats three very comfortably for movie viewing. We bought the ottoman, as well, which is a good deal sturdier than any of the other "brands" we considered.

I shopped online and in stores for months before settling on the Dean sofa. I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase! We have two 88" Dean sofas in our living room, where I expect they'll stand up well to kids, TV watching, book reading, and lounging. The cushions are firm but comfortable, and the gray velvet is a perfect neutral for us. The low profile provides just the right amount of visual separation between our open concept living room and dining room.

The delivery men were polite, prompt, and friendly. Setup was perfect. Good customer service can be hard to come by these days, but Room and Board got it right, from beginning to end.

My husband and I purchased this, our first quality sofa, after 40 years of make-dos. We couldn't be happier with it. As soon as it was delivered, it looked like it belonged in our living room. Still looks wonderful two months later. Very comfortable. We expect to enjoy it for many years. Some have said the cushions are too firm, but we think they are just right.

Really handsome sofa. Our little dog loves walking on the back of it and it is easy to clean pet hair. It is a little stiff to sit on, but I am confident that it will soften as we use it more. Be sure and look at the back of it. It is in the middle of the room, so I see the back. And it has a sexy back : )

We searched long and hard for a tight back sofa that was both comfortable and stylish. Although this sofa was pricey, it is worth every penny. It looks wonderful against my hardwood floors and I love that I never have to worry about fluffing up or rearranging messy pillows. It's also super comfy.

Love our new couch! The Dean Sofa fits beautifully on a very long wall in our living room. The velvet fabric is comfy and easy to clean. The cushions are firm which I like too. The design is simple and the bark color fabric has nice bronze highlights in the sun.

This sofa offers a great, supportive, and firm but comfortable sit. It's like switching to a firm mattress after sleeping on one that has been too soft--sweet relief. It looks great and so far (about a month) has kept its shape nicely. The only slightly negative thing is that the bottom cushions don't seem to be interchangeable--I'd like to be able to rotate them to wear them evenly but each one seems to have a slightly different shape making that not an option. Overall though, highly recommend. Thanks!

I received this couch with a chaise the other day. It's extremely comfortable and realistic, but the color is much greener than I remember it being in the store. I am going to go back tomorrow to check it out, because I'm disappointed and confused.
