We were concerned with exemplary style & craftsmanship when searching for a rocking chair that would look great, as well as be very sturdy for my daughter's young children. The Eames molded chair works perfectly for those 2 qualities.
Although it is smaller then we imagined when ordering, the chair is comfortable even for my 6 ft+ son-in-law.
The rocker is used in their family/livingroom space & I found it to be just perfect for rocking my 5 month granddaughter to sleep!

I am only 5'4" but I found this chair to be too low. Also, I was expecting the back rest to be higher so you can rest your head on the chair while you rock the baby. The higher part of the back rest doesn't even reach my shoulders. This is not a chair to use to nurse your baby every day, but it could work for sporadic use (read a book, etc.)

I absolutely love this rocking chair! I used it in my son's nursery room and it looked fabulous in there. I recently moved it into the living room and it looks incredible there as well! This chair is very comfortable, sleek, and durable. It completely changes the feel of the room, in my opinion. Now I want one in every room!

I've had a few purchases over time with [...] and she has been super helpful with finding products and making recommendations with pieces that we have at home. Whether they're piece from Room and Board or elsewhere. She has or at least conveys similar taste, has knowledge of mid-century classics and makes it easy to feel good about a purchase. In general I haven't had any poor experience of bad service in any of the three Room and Board locations. We also appreciate the vingette rooms which help inspire and visualize the possiblities.
