Bought 60" version to complement the next shorter version that I bought years ago. Beautiful together! As mentioned above, the on/off "boxes" are clunky and big. Difficult to hide which is a problem for minimalists like me.

Room & Board did a fantastic job in the ordering, delivering and returning of this product. The issue for us became the design of the product. We have an earlier version of one of these lamps that is excellent. However, either the design changed, or the design doesn't work for a taller light in that the column above the light is quite loose, especially when used on a carpeted surface/makes it too wobbly.

We plugged in the light. It worked well. We used it approximately 10 times.
While entertaining, with a room full of people, a guest marveled at the light and attempted to turn it on with the floor switch. Bright flash, and then nothing.
The bulb seems intact. We suspect the switch burned up.
I'll be calling Room and Board today to deal with the headache this lamp has become.

This lamp is a great accent light and sets a nice mood on the the lower end of the dim control. When the light is used at it's full capacity, it creates a blinding light at the bottom of the "tower'. If you're looking for a lamp as a primary light source or a reading lamp, this isn't the one.

Elise Lamps have a great design, but wish the dimmer was integrated into the lamp base instead of the cord. The clunky dimmer dangling next to the lamp makes for a messy look for such a clean design.

Very good design and dimmer switch makes it very useful. I am very happy with this product. The one con I can think of is that the lightbulb is not very green or energy efficient.

While these lamps are pretty and work in our space well as accent lighting - I was a little disappointed when they arrived. The cylinders are made of a heavy plastic which I wouldn't have expected for the price. They are still very nice lamps and we enjoy them, I guess I was just expecting something a bit "more" something to further justify the price in my mind.
